Willie Lopez is respected by most Quad Cities River Bandits fans for his no-frills style of play. The 22-year-old first baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Midwest League Player of the Week honors.
He compiled a .545 average (12-for-22) with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
