Loons Torpedoed by Ramos in 3-0 Loss to Beloit Wednesday, July 20th , 2044 Mike Ramos had an impressive outing at Harry C. Pohlman Field, hurling the Beloit Snappers to a 3-0 shutout victory over the Great Lakes Loons. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Great Lakes skipper Colton Harlow said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." On the day, the left-handed Ramos yielded 8 hits and tallied 17 strikeouts with no walks. For the season, Ramos has a record of 3 wins and 10 losses in 16 appearances.
