No Playoff Berth Coming for Wichita Monday, August 17th , 2043 Fans of the Wichita Wind Surge have long since given up hope of the club making a serious playoff push this season. But now those hopes are officially gone, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. This is the club's 6th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2037. In total, the Wind Surge have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 24-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Wind Surge have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
