River Cats Pitching Ravaged by Erickson
It was a sensational day at the plate for Reno Aces center fielder Jon Erickson, but a tough one for the team, as the Aces dropped the contest, 11-10, to the Sacramento River Cats.

Even with the loss, Erickson was pure misery for the Sacramento pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked after going 5-for-6 in an explosive display of hitting.

"It's always good to get a bunch of hits in a game, but you also want to win," said Erickson, who is the 28-year old center fielder .

"Erickson really hit the ball hard and when you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage," River Cats manager Isias Alcantar told BNN reporters after the game. "I feel like we threw him some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."

Jon Erickson flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.

Currently Erickson is batting .341 with 3 home runs, 26 RBIs and 20 runs scored.
