By a score of 5-2, the Salt Lake Bees have sealed a victory in the Round 1 over the Reno Aces.

"We knew we would be in for a tough series and that's what we got," said third baseman Danny Ortiz of the Bees, who was named the series MVP. "The Aces knew how to battle and gave us a good test."

The next test for Salt Lake will come in the Round 2, after winning this series 3-1.

The Salt Lake Bees don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Oklahoma City Dodgers - Memphis Redbirds series. Oklahoma City leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
