It took a while, but the Minnesota (DSL) Twins finally disposed of the Kansas City (DSL) Royals 1 9-2 in the series clincher at Kansas City Royals Complex.

Winning the finale gave the Twins the series, 4-3. They will now advance to the Round 3.

The Most Valuable Player Award went to Minnesota (DSL) catcher Erik Christian. He batted .429 in the series, collecting 5 RBIs and scoring 8 runs.

The Minnesota (DSL) Twins will play against the Philadelphia (DSL) Phillies White in the next round. Philadelphia (DSL) won their series against the San Diego (DSL) Padres 1 4 games to 2. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
