Royals 1 Prevail, as Round 2 Goes to the Wire
After their 8-4 win today at Texas Rangers Complex over the Texas (DSL) Rangers 2, the Kansas City (DSL) Royals 1 will advance to the Round 3. Kansas City (DSL) won the series by a 4-3 margin.

Leading the way for the Royals 1 was center fielder Erick Pena, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP.

"I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus."

The Kansas City (DSL) Royals 1 don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the New York A (DSL) Yankees 1 - Milwaukee (DSL) Brewers series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
