The fans in Texas (DSL) are celebrating the Rangers 2 victory over the Minnesota (DSL) Twins in the Round 1.

They defeated the Minnesota (DSL) Twins 8-4 in the finale played at Baseball City Complex to capture the series 4-1.

Sam Ditterline was chosen the series' Most Valuable Player. The Rangers 2 second baseman batted .571, drove in 5 runs and scored 7 runs in the series.

"The Twins are a good club and I don't mean any disrespect to their pitching staff, but things just felt easy this series," Ditterline said. "Everything at the plate seemed right."

The Texas (DSL) Rangers 2 don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Kansas City (DSL) Royals 1 - Philadelphia (DSL) Phillies Red series. Kansas City (DSL) leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
