Wiley Tosses Shutout Against Marlins
The Miami (DSL) Marlins were almost helpless today in their 8-0 loss to the Pittsburgh (DSL) Pirates 1 and hurler Greg Wiley. Wiley kept the Marlins confused all game, spinning a 7-hit shutout.

"Tip your hat to Wiley," Miami (DSL) manager said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night."

The 17-year-old right-hander had 4 walks and 7 strikeouts in a strong performance.

"It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Wiley said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way."
