Gallardo Belts Bunch of Base Hits
It seemed that Miami (DSL) third baseman Jose Gallardo could do no wrong as the Marlins KO'd the Cubs 1, 17-7. Gallardo rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Cubs 1 hurlers were throwing.

"I think the Marlins were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Chicago N (DSL) fan after the game.

"I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Gallardo in the postgame press interview.

Jose Gallardo grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.

Currently Gallardo is batting .393 with 2 home runs, 20 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
