Manager Bartee History; Nationals Start Search

The future of the Washington (GCL) Nationals will not include Kimera Bartee.
Much-criticized for his in-game managing by local scribes of late, Bartee has been fired as manager of the Nationals.
The decision is believed to have been made primarily by the team's owner, who was always quick to publicly criticize Bartee's decisions on the field and in the clubhouse.
When reached at his home in Washington (GCL), owner The owner of the Washington (GCL) Nationals said the decision was made "in the best interest of the team," but he refused to elaborate on the specific reasons which led to the firing.
Bartee told BNN he plans to explore his options for another job in baseball.
"I'll miss Washington (GCL) and I'll miss the Nationals, but I won't miss having everything I do second-guessed," he said.
