Dossey Selected A E's Best Player

The future looks extremely bright for Bobby Dossey. At the age of 24, many players are still trying to find their way in Low-A East.
Dossey has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Low-A East Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .330 this year, that's for sure," the right fielder said.
The Delmarva Shorebirds star also put up a .404 on-base percentage this year, with 167 hits, 37 doubles, 1 triple, 37 home runs, 123 RBIs and 110 runs scored.
He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 12. Jon Valencia of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Jeremy Gaines of the Down East Wood Ducks finished third with 1 first place vote.
