Escobar on the Attack, Player of the Week

Jersey Shore BlueClaws third baseman Aroon Escobar walked away with the South Atlantic League Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days.
"The BlueClaws fans are really behind me right now," said the 22-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better."
Escobar batted .444 (12-for-27) with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs this week on his way to the award.
For the season, Escobar is hitting .318, batted in 35 runs with 8 home runs and 32 runs scored.
