Alfaro Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, July 28th , 2039 Dave Alfaro collected 1 hit in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers Robinson, beat the Pittsburgh (DSL) Pirates 1, 3-2. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Alfaro quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Dave Alfaro flied out in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and struck out in the 10th.
