San Francisco (DSL)'s Ramirez Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits
Sunday, July 16th , 2045
San Francisco (DSL) Giants 1 shortstop Danny Ramirez had a day to remember at Academia de Prospecto Complex, ripping apart the Cleveland (DSL) Guardians 1 and sparking the 14-2 Giants 1 win.
Ramirez wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-6.
"I'm usually a first ball hitter," Ramirez told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it."
Danny Ramirez doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Nelson Rodriguez in the 9th.
Ramirez's current batting average stands at .381 and he has chalked up 4 home runs and 34 RBIs.
