Novak Gone for Season in San Francisco (DSL) Friday, July 8th , 2039 Daniel Novak has to call it a season. The San Francisco (DSL) Giants 1 starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Minnesota (DSL) Twins and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Novak was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn labrum and stated that he would not be able to play for 6 months. To date this season, Novak sports a 4-1 mark with a 1.97 ERA in 6 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .231 batting average and has 34 strikeouts in 32 innings. |
