Iturralde Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Monday, July 4th , 2039 The St. Louis (DSL) Cardinals Red stopped the Texas (DSL) Rangers 2 by a score of 9-6 at Texas Rangers Complex, with the lion's share of the credit going to center fielder Jordan Iturralde. The 20-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Iturralde said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Iturralde did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Rangers 2. "Not much that I can say," offered Texas (DSL) manager Jose Y. Nunez. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Jordan Iturralde singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Alex Orta in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
