Arizona GCL Sweeps into the Round 2 Tuesday, August 30th , 2039 The Arizona GCL DBacks proved to be too much to handle for the Baltimore (GCL) Orioles in the Round 1, and a sweep was the end result. Arizona GCL punched its ticket to the Round 2 on the strength of a 6-3 win in the deciding game, which wrapped up the series 2-0. Arizona GCL third baseman Alex Solorio, named series MVP, was instrumental in the sweep, as he mashed Baltimore (GCL) pitching to the tune of a .500 average, with a .556 on-base percentage.
