Wild Card Clinched by Arizona GCL Tuesday, August 23rd , 2039 The manager of the Arizona GCL DBacks is reminding the city of Arizona GCL to "keep the faith" as the team heads into the playoffs as a wild card team. "We believe in ourselves and we need our fans to believe in us too," said Warren Schaeffer. "We know we can get Arizona GCL rocking with a great run in the playoffs." It remains to be seen just how deep the DBacks will be able to go in the playoffs, but confidence appears to be high. "We've got the team to win a championship, I firmly believe that," said starting pitcher Oscar Silva. If the team is successful, it would be the 1st Gulf Coast Rookie League championship in franchise history. |
