Red-Hot Hollins Scorches Marlins Friday, July 29th , 2039 It seemed Pittsburgh (GCL) Pirates second baseman Omari Hollins could do no wrong, but it still didn't come out right. The Pirates fell against the Miami (GCL) Marlins by the score of 9-7. Hollins did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but in the end, Miami (GCL) prevailed at Pirate City Complex. "I felt real good, but my best just wasn't enough," Hollins said in the postgame interview. "We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and put the ball in play well, and they fell in for base hits. Some days they do that." Omari Hollins hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
