Guardians Red Heading to Round 2 Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 With a 3-1 win to wrap up the series at Cleveland Guardians Complex, the Cleveland (DSL) Guardians Red have eliminated the Chicago A (DSL) White Sox in the Round 1 and move on to the Round 2. Cleveland (DSL) controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 4-0 sweep. Jose Gomez led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .333 batting average, along with a .412 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 3 runs. "We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish." The Cleveland (DSL) Guardians Red don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Washington (DSL) Nationals - San Francisco (DSL) Giants Orange series. Washington (DSL) leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
