Phillips Caps Great Week Monday, June 25th , 2035 It was an extraordinary week for Jax Phillips of the Gwinnett Stripers. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .625, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the International League. Last week Phillips went 10-for-16, racked up 5 home runs and 10 RBIs and scored 8 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Gwinnett third baseman. Phillips on the season is hitting .296 with 17 home runs. His stats include 52 RBIs and 41 runs scored. |
