RiverDogs Take It on Chin, Lose 11-1 to Lynchburg
The Lynchburg Hillcats met little resistance from the Charleston RiverDogs, beating them, 11-1, at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. Políbio Mancias led the way. He was 3-5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for Lynchburg. The Hillcats saw their win-loss record go to 33-30. At the same time, the RiverDogs fell to 41-22.

In the top of the third, Mancias had a 2-run home run for Lynchburg. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Hillcats on top, 3-1.

"Good pitching and timely hitting is a recipe for success," said Mancias.
