Ports Keep Streak Alive with Late Rally
The Stockton Ports beat the Lake Elsinore Storm, 7-6, at Lake Elsinore Diamond. Mike Bowser, who is tied for 8th in the in bases on balls with 34, starred for Stockton. He went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. Chris Kelly sewed up the save, his 10th. With the win, Stockton upped its record to 37-7.

Stockton won the game in part because of Jake Clark. The center fielder ripped a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Ports ahead, 3-0. For the game, Clark had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Bowser.
