Hot Rods Lose to Tourists in Walk-Off
Bowling Green got a valiant performance from pitcher Bobby Larsen, but it wasn't enough to beat the Asheville Tourists. Asheville won the game, 5-3. Larsen threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. Chris Rojas snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 1.2 innings. He's now 4-2 on the season. The Tourists have an impressive 35-19 record.

The decisive blow was delivered by Alan Morgan in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 3-run home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Luis Villa to win the game for Asheville. The home crowd went nuts.

"That game was intense," Morgan said.
