Behind a fine performance from Shamel Buie, the Jersey Shore BlueClaws knocked off the Wilmington Blue Rocks in 10 innings, 13-5. Buie went 2-5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 5 for the BlueClaws. With the win, the BlueClaws hiked their record to 26-17.

Negussu Zeman drew 2 walks for Jersey Shore. The 22-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring walk off Luis Garza. It was his 2nd walk of the season.

"That's what these guys do," said BlueClaws manager Aaron Sutton. "They battle, they fight."
