Slumping Dash Lose 8th Straight
Behind a fine performance from Bob Stevenson, the Hudson Valley Renegades knocked off the Winston-Salem Dash, 5-3. Stevenson was 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times for the Renegades. Mike Clements picked up the win in relief. Esteban Rosario took the loss for Winston-Salem. The Dash, now 4-18, have been pitiful so far.

Had Steve Stamper not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Stamper hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Renegades.

Winston-Salem manager Yu-yeon Kang, after yet another defeat, said: "We need to recalibrate."
