The Eugene Emeralds got a superb performance from pitcher Geoff French, but the Everett AquaSox still won the game, 6-2. French came in in relief and pitched to 18 batters. Mitski Galjour picked up the win, lifting his record to 7-7 on the season. He struck out 4 and walked 1 in 6.1 innings, while yielding 2 runs. At 59-47, the AquaSox are currently second in the Northwest League.

In the top of the third inning of a 0-0 tie, Everett left fielder Juan Balandran reached on an error by the C, driving in 2 runs. It broke the deadlock and put Everett on top, 2-0.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Balandran told the Everett Today. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
