Frisco Loss Tarnishes Fine Game by Worlds
The Amarillo Sod Poodles outlasted Jaime Worlds and the Frisco RoughRiders, 12-10. Worlds was impressive in the loss. The Frisco designated hitter went 3-5 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5. Macho Agro earned the save for Amarillo, his 4th. Amarillo is now 34-60. Frisco is 50-44.

Amarillo won the game in part because of Jake Timothy. The right fielder ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sod Poodles ahead, 8-7. For the game, Timothy had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Timothy.
