The Wichita Wind Surge buried the Tulsa Drillers, 14-0, under a barrage of hits. Andres Huerta led the onslaught, going 3-for-5 for Wichita. With the win, the Wind Surge hiked their record to 47-29.

With Wichita leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Huerta hit a sinker from Jorge Esmeralda for a 2-run double. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Wind Surge ahead, 3-0.

"What a forgettable performance," said losing manager Enrique Wilson. "Yuck."
