The Tampa Tarpons knocked off the Clearwater Threshers by the score of 6-0. Zion Soles provided some pop, going 2-for-4 with 2 home runs. Dave Greene, the winner, improved to 6-2. He held the Threshers to no runs on 4 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 0. The Tarpons improved to a lofty 36-11.

In the first inning, Soles had a 2-run home run for Tampa. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Tarpons on top, 2-0.
