Lakeland Edges Fort Myers in Extra Innings
The Lakeland Flying Tigers faced a tough opponent in Fort Myers pitcher David Castro, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Joker Marchant Stadium by a final score of 3-2 in 10 innings. Castro went 9 innings and allowed no runs. The win belonged to Dan Main in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Dave Bouley took the loss for Fort Myers. The Flying Tigers, with only their 4th win in 22 games, have not had much to write home about in 2032.

The Flying Tigers got a clutch hit from center fielder Juan Sandoval. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Flying Tigers.

"Our guys refused to lose," said Sandoval.
