The Wichita Wind Surge used an offensive barrage to beat the Frisco RoughRiders, 10-0, at Riverfront Stadium. Andrew Fischer, who is tied for 6th in the in triples with 2, led the way, going 2-for-2 for Wichita. David Villarreal, now 2-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.2 innings. The loss makes Frisco 16-29.

Vince Lewis had a big 2-run double for the Wind Surge in the bottom of the second inning. With Wichita leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from Joey Unangst and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 16th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Wind Surge ahead, 3-0.

"When you don't put the pitches where they're supposed to be, they hit you hard," said Frisco skipper Rob Burger.
