Neville Goes Off, But Cardinals Win
The Springfield Cardinals weathered an outstanding game by Midland center fielder Mason Neville to topple the RockHounds, 7-6. Neville slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Alejandro Mijon finished the game for Springfield and earned his 6th save. At 21-19, the Cardinals find themselves in third place in the North Division.

In the bottom of the sixth, Steve Mince delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 2nd, the Springfield designated hitter hit a run-scoring single, putting the Cardinals in front, 7-6.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Mince.
