Juan Alti, who is tied for 6th in the in wins with 3, was terrific for the Midland RockHounds in his team's 1-0 triumph over the San Antonio Missions. His performance earned Alti rave reviews. With the win, Midland upped its record to 19-17.

Alti earned the win to move to 3-2. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 3 hits, striking out 8 and walking 0. The left-hander allowed the Missions few scoring opportunities.

"It's no secret that good defense follows around people who throw strikes," said Midland manager Aaron Miles.
