Burgman went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 4 and driving in 2 for Corpus Christi in the contest. Stephon Thermidor closed the door for Corpus Christi, picking up his 1st save of the year. With the victory, the Hooks upped their record to 19-15.

Center Fielder Juan Angulo made an impact for Corpus Christi, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Jaheim Hillmon in the top of the fifth. For the contest, Angulo went 1 for 5 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.
