The Springfield Cardinals pinned a convincing loss on the Midland RockHounds, 9-3, at Momentum Bank Ballpark. Sean (Grady) Potter was a main factor in the win. He was 3-4 with 2 triples, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for Springfield. Midland falls to 10-8.

Potter contributed in the top of the second. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped Springfield get the win.
