Plourde Whacks 2 Home Runs in 16-8 Win
The Pensacola Blue Wahoos knocked off the Montgomery Biscuits by the score of 16-8. Steve Plourde provided some pop, going 3-for-4 with 2 home runs. Pensacola pitcher Fernando De La Rosa earned the win, hiking his record to 1-2. Mike Springer suffered the loss. With the win, Pensacola upped its record to 28-26.

With Pensacola leading 12-8 in the top of the ninth, Plourde came up to bat against Montgomery pitcher Jim Unknown. Plourde hit a sinker to left for a grand slam home run. His 8th home run of the season put the Blue Wahoos on top, 16-8.

"It's good to win," Plourde told the Pensacola Observer. "I like to have fun doing it."
