Redbirds 4-0 Winners Over St. Paul
Memphis pitcher Steve Engle did his part in helping his team defeat the St. Paul Saints, 4-0. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Ronny Robles earned the save for Memphis. Their 40-53 record puts the Redbirds last in the West Division.

Nelson Campos had a big 2-run double for the Redbirds in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Memphis leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a cutter from Jeff Hensley and swatted a double to center. It was his 15th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Redbirds ahead, 3-0.

"Even warm beer tastes good after a win," said Campos.
