The Sacramento River Cats downed the Las Vegas Aviators, 2-0, at Las Vegas Ballpark. Stellar pitching by Alejandro Mora had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 9th in the with a 8.6 K/9 rate, handcuffed his opponent all game. In 7 innings, Mora surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Dave Stroh notched his 7th save in 9 chances.
