Guzman Propels Sugar Land Offense in 10-1 Rout
Denzer Guzman helped his team muscle past the El Paso Chihuahuas, 10-1. In the game, the Sugar Land second baseman went 4 for 6 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. Ken Faust went 8 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits. The right-hander, the 15th overall pick in the 2027 draft, struck out 8 and walked 1. With the win, he's now 2-1 this season. The second-place Space Cowboys hiked their record to 30-20.

With Sugar Land leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Guzman hit a fastball from Ryan Costeiu for a bases-clearing triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Space Cowboys ahead, 5-1.
