Chihuahuas Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Express, 10-7
The El Paso Chihuahuas beat the Round Rock Express, 10-7. El Paso designated hitter and Fenton, Missouri, native Gavin Richars led the way. El Paso reliever Chris Loper picked up the win to move to 2-3. Nate Muyskens suffered the loss. The Chihuahuas sit in 4th place in the East Division with a record of 19-26.

The game was at a stalemate until catcher Joe Reynolds came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Round Rock pitcher Nate Muyskens, he hit a first pitch sinker for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting El Paso on top, 7-5.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Chihuahuas manager Andy Schatzley. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
