Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Worcester Red Sox take on the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.

Lehigh Valley IronPigs starter Doug Kelley pitched his team past the Worcester Red Sox, 8-0. In 8 innings, Kelley surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 3. He allowed no runs.
