Bobby Griffin, the 18th overall pick in the 2028 draft, was locked in. The right-hander led the Binghamton Rumble Ponies to a 6-4 win against the Bowie Baysox at Prince George's Stadium. Jorge Morales earned the save for Binghamton, his 5th of the year. The Rumble Ponies saw their record improve to 16-35.

Binghamton used a clutch at-bat from Shamar Jackon to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Rumble Ponies ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Rumble Ponies manager Guillermo Andujar raved about Griffin after the game. "I thought Bobby was 'lights out.'"
