Ottenbreit K's 10 En Route to 6-0 Phillies Win
|
Micah Ottenbreit, who is tied for 10th in the NL in strikeouts with 102, was terrific for the Philadelphia Phillies in his team's 6-0 triumph over the Toronto Blue Jays. His performance earned Ottenbreit rave reviews. The win hiked the Philadelphia record to 54-29.
Ottenbreit was in the zone all game. He frustrated Toronto hitters while giving the Phillies 7.1 innings of quality work. Ottenbreit threw 88 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 10 punchouts.
"Micah answered the bell," said Philadelphia manager Derek Adair.
