7 Straight Wins for Astros
Despite a great performance by Texas shortstop Gabriel Arias, the Houston Astros defeated the Rangers by the score of 7-6 at Globe Life Field. Arias went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The Astros now have a record of 35-28.

Ruben Santana delivered a big hit for Houston. The third baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Astros ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Houston manager Dickie Joe Thon.
