Houston center fielder Juan Angulo had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Colorado Rockies, 9-6. Houston reliever Anthony Cruz picked up the win, upping his record to 5-5. Jae-geol Hwang absorbed the loss. Houston is in second place in the American League West Division with a record of 31-28.

In the bottom of the ninth, with the score tied, Angulo hammered a 3-run home run to win it for Houston.
