Balderas Helps Rangers Win, 7-1, with Pair of Homers
Led by Fanuco Balderas, the Texas (DSL) Rangers defeated the Seattle (DSL) Mariners, 7-1. Balderas, a native of Puerto Cabello, Carabobo, slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Rangers. Dave Bouvier was the winner. Over 6.2 innings, he yielded 1 run on 4 hits, with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts. With the win, Texas (DSL) goes to 29-30, while the Mariners fall to 48-11.

With Texas (DSL) leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Balderas came up to bat against Seattle (DSL) pitcher Mat Hensley. Balderas hit a curveball to right for a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season put the Rangers on top, 5-1.
