The rain could not keep the home crowd from enjoying a good ballgame.

The New York A (DSL) Yankees in 10 innings downed the Cincinnati (DSL) Reds, 5-4, at Baseball City Complex. Mike Hurst led the way, going 2-for-4 for New York A (DSL). At 14-17, New York A (DSL) is in 4th place in the Northeast Division.

The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Hurst delivered big-time for New York A (DSL), stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Frank Briseno. The game-changing hit put the Yankees on top, 5-4.

"We own our own mistakes," Hurst told a reporter after the game. "But we share our victories."
