The Houston (FCL) Astros Orange downed the Baltimore (FCL) Orioles, 5-1, at Ed Smith Stadium. Stellar pitching by Bobby Darretta had a lot to do with it. The right-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. The Astros Orange move to 7-12 with the win, while the Orioles drop to 7-8.

Houston (FCL) used the timely hitting of Nerijus DeWald to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Astros Orange on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Bobby has the heart of a gladiator," said Houston (FCL) manager Nick D'Amico.
